AI Search Agency

for UK Businesses

Search is changing. Being visible still matters.

People are not only searching Google anymore. They are asking ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Perplexity and Google AI which businesses are worth looking at.

We help make sure yours has a proper chance of being part of that answer.

AI search visibility

There isn’t a magic GEO switch.

AI search has created a lot of new terminology. GEO. AEO. AI SEO. LLM optimisation.

Some of it is useful. Some of it makes a fairly sensible job sound more complicated than it needs to be.

If an AI system is going to recommend your business, it first needs to find useful information about you. It needs to understand exactly what you do. It needs enough evidence to have confidence in that information.

That starts with many of the same things good SEO and good marketing have always relied on. A technically sound website. Clear services. Useful content. Real projects. Reviews. Consistent business information. Other credible websites talking about you.

AI search adds another layer to that work. That’s the layer we focus on.

AI search is still search.

What we do

Help AI find you, understand you and recommend you.

That means getting the search foundations right, making your business easy to understand, building stronger evidence around what you do and improving the places AI systems are likely to find information about you. Our job is not to chase tricks. It is to improve the information and signals that exist around your business so search engines, answer engines and AI assistants can make more sense of you.

A fast, well-structured website built by Halizona
01

Make sure you can be found

Before anything can recommend your business, the right pages and information have to be accessible. We look at technical SEO, crawl access, indexing, site structure, internal links, page speed and the way important information is presented. If there is a basic problem here, we fix it first.

  • Technical SEO
  • Crawl access
  • Indexing
  • Site structure
  • Search foundations
Reviewing how a business is described across the web
02

Make it obvious what you do

A person can sometimes make sense of a vague website. A machine has a harder job. We make your services, locations, expertise, people, projects and relationships clearer throughout your website and wider online presence. The aim is simple. Remove ambiguity.

  • Entity clarity
  • Service pages
  • Location relevance
  • About information
  • Structured data
Evidence and proof gathered for a client
03

Give your claims some weight

Anybody can say they are brilliant. It means more when there is evidence. Projects, client names, results, reviews, accreditations, photographs, expert content and independent mentions all help build a clearer picture of the business behind the claim.

  • Case studies
  • Reviews
  • Third-party mentions
  • Business profiles
  • Real-world proof

04

Answer the questions buyers actually ask

People use AI differently from traditional search. They ask complete questions. “Who are the best commercial flooring contractors in Yorkshire?” “Which brickwork contractors work with major housebuilders?” “Who offers private Maths tuition in Glasgow?” We identify the questions that could lead someone to your business and make sure there is useful, specific information available to answer them.

  • Buyer questions
  • Comparison content
  • Expert answers
  • Service content
  • Supporting evidence
The Halizona approach

AI visibility should lead to real business.

Once somebody does find you, your website and marketing still have another job to do. Make them trust you. Give them a reason to choose you. There is not much value in appearing in an AI answer if nothing happens afterwards, so we do not treat AI search as a standalone technical exercise. We look at the whole journey.

Search visibility work in progress at Halizona
01

Get found

Your business needs enough search visibility and online presence to enter the conversation in the first place.

Checking how a business is described across the web
02

Build confidence

What AI finds about you should make sense, match up and be backed by something real.

A website built to convert the visit once it arrives
03

Earn the click

If an assistant mentions three businesses, you still need to look like the strongest option when somebody investigates further.

04

Win the work

The final measure is not how many prompts contained your company name. It is whether better visibility brings better enquiries, customers and revenue. That is the bit that matters.

Start here

What does AI currently know about your business?

Before changing anything, we find out where you stand.

We check the sort of questions your customers could genuinely ask across ChatGPT, Google AI, Gemini, Claude and Perplexity. Then we look at what comes back.

  • Are you mentioned?
  • Which competitors are appearing?
  • What does the answer say about them?
  • Which sources are being used?
  • Is your business being misunderstood?
  • Are important services missing completely?
  • Does the information match what you actually want to be known for?

That gives us something much more useful than saying you need “more GEO”. It tells us what needs fixing.

AI Search Agency services

The work behind better visibility.

Every business starts in a different place, so we do not sell the same checklist to everybody. Depending on what we find, the work can include:

AI Search Visibility

Testing the questions that matter to your business across the main AI search and answer platforms.

AI SEO

Improving the existing search foundations that AI-powered search still relies on.

GEO

Generative Engine Optimisation focused on making your business easier to discover and use within generated answers.

AEO

Answer Engine Optimisation built around the questions prospects ask and the answers they need before making a decision.

Website Content

Clearer service pages, sector pages, case studies, guides, comparisons and answers based on real knowledge from your business.

Entity Optimisation

Making the people, services, locations, clients and expertise connected to your business clearer and more consistent online.

Structured Data

Using appropriate schema and structured information where it helps machines understand the content already visible on the page.

Authority Building

Strengthening the evidence around your business through genuine reviews, references, profiles, projects, partnerships and relevant third-party coverage.

Measurement

Tracking visibility over time and connecting it back to website visits, enquiries and commercial results wherever possible.

Case studies

We were building businesses for search before AI search had a name.

A lot of the work that helps a business appear in AI search starts with making it clearer and more credible online in the first place. Here are three examples.

Bond Brickwork bricklayers on a residential development in Yorkshire Commercial construction · SEO · Website · Content

Bond Brickwork

We have worked on Bond Brickwork’s search presence since 2018. Rather than chasing broad traffic, the focus has been the work Bond actually wants from developers and main contractors. Major housing developments, masonry packages, project locations, capabilities and evidence from real sites. That has helped Bond rank at the top of Google for valuable commercial searches and build the sort of online presence that AI search can understand and recommend.

RB Electrical work on a commercial building in West Yorkshire Electrical contracting · SEO · Website · Lead generation

RB Electrical

RB Electrical did not need thousands of meaningless visits. They needed people looking for specific electrical services and EV charging work. We built the search strategy around those services and gave each one enough useful information to stand on its own. The organic work has averaged around two leads a week over five years and delivered roughly £5 back for every £1 invested.

Educamus Tuition

Educamus Tuition provides private academic tuition across Scotland. Our work has covered the website, search visibility, service and location content, conversion journeys and the wider marketing around the brand. By concentrating on the searches families actually make and making it clearer why Educamus is a strong choice, the business more than doubled turnover during our first year working together.

Results that matter

We don’t pretend an AI answer is a fixed ranking.

Ask the same AI question on different days and you can get a different response. So we do not turn that into a fake position number and tell you that you have moved from fourth to third. Instead, we monitor the things that actually tell us whether your visibility is improving.

  • Are you being mentioned?

We track whether your business appears for the questions that matter and how often competitors appear alongside you.

  • What is being said?

Being mentioned for the wrong reason is not a win. We look at how the business is described and whether important services, locations and strengths are understood correctly.

  • What sources are appearing?

When sources are shown, they give us useful clues about where AI search is finding its information and where the gaps are.

  • Is anybody visiting the website?

Where referral data is available, we look at traffic coming from AI search alongside ordinary organic search.

  • Is it producing enquiries?

Visibility is useful. Revenue is better. We keep the commercial outcome in view rather than stopping at another dashboard metric.

One joined-up approach

AI search works better when the rest of your marketing is doing its job.

This is one of the reasons Halizona is well placed to do this work. We are not an AI Search Agency that stops at a spreadsheet of prompts.

If the website needs fixing, we can fix it. If your positioning is unclear, we can work on it. If you need stronger project photography, case studies, video, SEO, social content or paid marketing, that can all sit within the same plan.

The aim is not to collect marketing services. It is to get the right parts working together so more of the right people discover your business and have enough confidence to contact you.

One team. One direction. No passing you between different suppliers.

AI search FAQs

Straight answers about AI search.

What is an AI Search Agency?

An AI Search Agency works on how businesses are discovered and represented within AI-powered search and answer platforms such as ChatGPT, Google AI, Gemini, Claude and Perplexity.

The work usually overlaps heavily with SEO, content, technical optimisation, digital authority and brand visibility.

Our approach is to improve those foundations rather than pretend there is a secret method for forcing an AI system to mention you.

What are GEO and AEO?

GEO stands for Generative Engine Optimisation. AEO stands for Answer Engine Optimisation.

Both describe work aimed at increasing visibility in systems that answer questions directly rather than simply returning a traditional list of search results.

We use the terms because people search for them, but we are more interested in the work than the acronym.

Is AI SEO different from normal SEO?

Yes and no. Strong traditional SEO remains an important foundation for AI search.

The difference is that we also look at how clearly your business is understood, the questions people ask conversationally, the information available away from your own website and whether your wider online footprint supports what you claim.

Good SEO and good AI search optimisation should support each other.

Can you guarantee that ChatGPT will recommend my business?

No. Neither can anybody else.

There is no legitimate button we can press to force ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude or another model to recommend a particular company.

What we can do is improve the factors we can influence and measure whether your visibility changes afterwards.

Can ChatGPT actually find my website?

Public websites can appear in ChatGPT search.

Technical access matters, which is why we check crawlability and make sure important information can be reached and understood.

Being accessible does not guarantee inclusion, but blocking access certainly does not help.

Do I need special AI schema?

There is no magic “AI schema” that guarantees an appearance in AI search.

We still use appropriate structured data because it can help machines understand information already present on your site.

It is one piece of the job, not the whole strategy.

Do I need an llms.txt file?

Not as a shortcut to AI rankings.

There is plenty of noise around new files, tags and technical tricks whenever search changes.

We would rather spend your time improving things with a stronger reason to exist.

Which AI platforms do you monitor?

Our AI visibility work can cover ChatGPT, Google AI search experiences, Gemini, Claude and Perplexity.

The exact mix depends on your audience and where your customers are most likely to search.

What if my industry is traditional?

Then test it. Ask an AI assistant who it would recommend for the service you sell.

If it names competitors, directories or other businesses and leaves you out, there is already something worth investigating.

You do not have to wait for everybody in your industry to start talking about GEO.

How quickly can AI search visibility improve?

It depends on the problem. A technical issue can sometimes be fixed quickly.

Building stronger content, authority and third-party evidence takes longer.

We would rather give you a realistic picture after looking at the business than invent a three-month promise before we have seen anything.

Where is Halizona based?

We are based in Halifax, West Yorkshire.

Our AI search work can be delivered across the UK because most of it takes place across your website, search presence, content and wider digital footprint.

What does AI search optimisation cost?

It depends on what is already in place.

Some businesses mainly need an audit and a handful of changes. Others have technical problems, weak content or very little authority around them and need more work.

We start by looking at the current position and then recommend what is actually worth doing.

UK AI Search Agency

Based in Yorkshire. Working with businesses across the UK.

Halizona is based in Halifax and works with businesses throughout Yorkshire and further afield. AI search itself is not particularly interested in where our desk is. So whether you are in Leeds, Manchester, Birmingham, London, Glasgow, Bristol, Sheffield, Newcastle or somewhere considerably smaller, we can work on the same problem. What matters is where your customers are and what they ask when they are looking for a business like yours.

  • Manchester
  • Birmingham
  • London
  • Glasgow
  • Bristol
  • Sheffield
  • Newcastle

See where you stand

Ask AI who it recommends. Then ask why you aren’t there.

Try the question your best customer might ask. If your competitors come back and you don’t, send us what you asked. We will look at your website, your wider search presence and what the AI is using, then tell you where we think the gaps are. No promise of magic rankings. Just a proper look at what is happening and what we can improve.
